Our company has developed a new concept of power
distribution systems for ships. EU patent EP 0902518A2 is
released for this innovative concept, named Primary Power Bus
PPB, which is completely different from the traditional power
distribution systems, nowadays used on ships throughout the
world.
The new concept provides a bus bar based power bus with
switch gear along the bus line instead of central switch
boards and remote power cabling of conventional power
distribution systems.
The application of Primary Power Bus PPB results in various
advantages for installation , space requirements , clarity of
distribution, flexibility for design and later modifications as
well as power availability in all sections of the ship.
